ESTELLE MEY l PRIMAL & HYPNOTIC
A voice like wildfire, shifting between raw power and haunting melodies.
Blurring the lines between neo-folk, punk, industrial, electronic, phonk, and metal, Estelle Mey’s music is both instinctive and immersive.
From deep, resonant hurdy-gurdy drones to fierce, unrelenting energy, she fuses organic and electric elements, creating something intense and at times ethereal.
French-born, Iceland-forged, UK-rooted, and shaped by a life of constant movement, her music carries the echoes of each journey, leaving its mark and weaving into a sound that is ever-evolving yet unmistakably hers.
A steady flow of new music unfolds, each release exploring a different shade —untethered by genre, yet bound by raw emotion and fearless experimentation. IInfluences range from the dark, brooding atmospheres of Fever Ray, the raw, driving energy of electronic phonk and The Prodigy, to the powerful, ancestral tones of Eivør, Heilung, Wardruna, and Aurora with the ferocious intensity of Nine Inch Nails and Sepultura.
Her previous punk singles LATE and SNAKE have been featured on BBC1 Future Alternative, BBC1 Intro Rock, Planet Rock, Radio X, KROCK, and more, earning praise from Amazing Radio, CLOUT, and Notion Magazine.
Upcoming releases:
SNAKE (Folk Version) was released in February, BLOOM in June, LILITH in September and GAÏA in November.
Now this is a real face melter and exactly what we need, perfect, a shot in the arm at this time of the day!
Someone described this artist as PJ Harvey into Sepultura, you'll know what I mean when I play it ”
- F.Francis, AMAZING RADIO UK
"Let's up the attitude as we get on this infectious punk song from Estelle Mey. It's a headbanger if ever I've heard one.
So clear some room and go wild."

" So punky, I just like that old school raw punk, I'm all about it! "
- Alyx Holcombe, BBC RADIO 1
